Using this site

By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy and our Refund and cancellation policy. You must be 18 or over to place an order. Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break into it, copy it automatically, or place orders you do not intend to pay for.

Our products

Our jewellery is made by hand from freshwater pearls. Size, shape, colour and lustre vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photographs, and screens show colour differently. That variation is a property of the material, not a defect. We describe every piece as accurately as we can; if you want to know more about a piece, including how its colour was achieved, ask us before you order.

Prices

Prices are in Indian rupees. The checkout shows the full amount you will pay, including shipping and any cash-on-delivery fee, before you place the order. If a price is shown in error, we will tell you before dispatch and you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we confirm your order by WhatsApp, email or phone. We may decline an order, for example if a piece has sold out or we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we refund anything you have paid, in full.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Cash on delivery is available up to the limit shown there, with the fee shown there. Online payments are processed by Razorpay.

Delivery

Dispatch times and shipping charges are on the Shipping page. The piece is your responsibility once it has been delivered to you.

Lifetime guarantee

See the guarantee for what it covers. It is in addition to your rights under the law, not instead of them.

Custom work

For a custom piece, we send a mock-up and a written quote first. Half the quoted price starts the work and the balance is due before dispatch. You can cancel for a full refund until we have bought pearls for your piece; after that we refund the advance minus the cost of the materials already bought for you, which we will show you. Once the piece has been strung for you it cannot be cancelled.

Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for twelve months from purchase, can be passed on to someone else, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Photographs and content

The photographs, text and design of this site belong to PearlWise or are used with permission. Please do not reuse them without asking.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law. Apart from those rights, if something goes wrong our responsibility is limited to the value of your order.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month of receiving it.

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you can contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or at consumerhelpline.gov.in, or file a complaint with the consumer commission through e-Daakhil (edaakhil.nic.in).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
