Your story, set in pearls
PearlWise started with one strand, made properly, for someone who wanted something you could not find in a shop window.
Every piece on this site is made from cultured freshwater pearls, sorted by hand, strung by hand, and finished with a clasp we would be happy to wear ourselves.
Pearls in more than one colour
Most people picture pearls as white. Freshwater pearls also come in peach, lavender and soft pink. We sort them by hand to find enough pearls of the same tone to make a strand that reads as one colour.

Made one strand at a time
Every strand is made one at a time. Pearls are matched for size and lustre, drilled where they need to be, and knotted between each bead, so that if a strand ever breaks, you lose one pearl instead of forty. The clasp is set last.
Because of that, no two strands are exactly alike.
Guaranteed for as long as you own it
Silk thread stretches and clasps wear out over time. That is normal, and it should not cost you a new necklace. Send the piece back and we will restring or replace it, for as long as it is yours. That covers the stringing and the clasp; it does not cover loss or theft, but if something is damaged we will always quote you a fair repair rather than sell you a replacement.
If you cannot see what you want
Many of our pieces are made for one person and never appear on this page. Send us a photograph, a colour, a sari, or a length in inches, and we will source the pearls and show you a mock-up before anything is strung. There is no charge for asking.
